An amazing saltwater lure for trolling or casting!
The Nepag Weight Forward Spinner is the world's original "weight-forward" lure. Created in Nipigon, Ontario Canada by Don Gapen (Dan's Father) in 1941. This new lure has been re-created by the Gapen Company. The Nepag was originally made to entice the world famous brook trout of the Nipigon River. Using a Nepal Weight Forward Spinner, the fishermen is able to cast a long way, drive the bait down in currents and keep a bait down during trolling.

The new Nepag Weight Forward Spinner, during 14 months of testing, proved to out-perform the original lure by taking white-bass, muskie, and striper, plus a number of saltwater species such as weak fish, redfish, halibut, cod and flounder.

The action of the spinner, the quality materials including real hair and quality feather materials has the look and "taste" the fish love. Because it is natural and not plastic, fish get a feel and "taste" for the lure and hold on just a little longer than plastics and hard plastic baits. Giving them something to chew and feel, gives fisherman just a little longer time to set the hook before the fish throw the lower or spit it back out.

Vertical Jigging the new Nepag weight forward spinner worked well in field tests on halibut, summer flounder and rock fish species in saltwater. In freshwater, this jigging technique is deadly on freshwater gamefish such as walleye and the bass species.

Use the Nepag to fish deeper waters and current where regular spinners don't dare to go.
