Wilderness Bait Casting Rod (Medium) October 7, 2020 Reviewer: Lee Burton from Fox Lake, IL United States   Well built and very sensitive rod at a great price.  This rod performs as well and better in some cases than other more expensive casting rods I have.  I also have a medium Gapen spinning rod that I'm very happy with.  Both great "All Rounders".    Thanks Gapen Co.! Extra heavy casting rod July 3, 2020 Reviewer: Ronald Brown from Oswego , KS United States   I purchased my first Gapen rod to catch large catfish on the river. This rod is so sensitive you can feel everything and it will handle whatever gets on the end of it. It cast great and the only thing I don’t like is the single foot guides but that’s just me. Another High Quality Fishing Rod March 26, 2019 Reviewer: Daniel Quenzel from Oak Lawn, IL United States   After battling a 180# tarpon on one of your 7' Med spinning rods for over 2 hours the first rod I thought of to match up with a new baitcasting reel was one of the Dan Gapen Wilderness Rods. Improve Post-Purchase Communication February 1, 2018 Reviewer: David Yanochko from Brighton, MI United States   The casting rod is exactly what I was looking for at a good price point and deserves 5 stars. However, I would have appreciated an email communication following the purchase notifying me that the product had shipped with tracking information. The lack of which cost Gapen a star. 6'6" Medium Light Casting Rod February 25, 2014 Reviewer: William Truswell from Youngstown, OH United States   I have three of your rods. I bought my other two at the Cleveland Sports show. Both of these are spinning rods and made in the U.S.A. thank you for that. I have not had the chance to use the casting rod yet but if its like the other two i have know doubt i will love it.
